Excellent place for relaxing. Beautiful scenic location. Well maintained two cottages with basic but comfortable facilities. Each cottage has two washrooms. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, clean washrooms and have a stunning view. Delicious food and excellent service by the owner. Very friendly, supportive and honest. The area has a lot to explore and Knuckles Mansala is the ideal place to be based at. The whole package is very reasonably priced too.

My husband and I recently stayed at Knuckles Mansala, and it was an amazing experience! They organize incredible treks, and the food—home-cooked by Udaya and his wife—was simply delicious. The portions were generous, and we got to enjoy authentic Sri Lankan dishes that were absolutely mouth-watering. As for the stay, it was beautiful. We could see the sunset and the majestic mountains right from the property. One of the highlights was experiencing the rain—the way the mountains would disappear and reappear through the mist and fog was magical. The entire place is peaceful, and the meals were always served on time without any delays. We also did the trek to the 5 peaks with an energetic guide, and it was a fantastic adventure. I must admit, it wasn’t an easy trek with steep climbs through forests and rain, but the views at every point were breathtaking. You could just stand there and admire the scenery for ages. Overall, Knuckles Mansala is a perfect peaceful place with great food and an unforgettable trekking experience. Highly recommend!

Nice budget rooms with a spectacular view of the valley and mountains. The owner is very nice and was happily cooking a lot of delicious food throughout the days. The location is very good for accessing the nearby trails and the hotel was able to organize local drivers and guides for us.

Knuckles Mansala is a great place to stay! The view is amazing, and the cool weather makes it so relaxing. The owner is really nice and helpful. The rooms were super clean, and the food was delicious. If you want a quiet place with beautiful views, this is a great choice!

Had the most fantastic time staying here. Stayed for 2 nights as a group of 4, Udaya the owner is very welcoming and friendly & the meals they cook are just THE BEST!. Extremely good value for money, clean room and bathrooms as well. Udaya provided us leech socks as well free of charge for the knuckles hike. And this spot is just perfect to enjoy with nature in peace. Would definitely come back and highly recommended !
